Please plan on being our guest again this year for the 22nd Annual Open House and Floral Design Show on Sunday, July 20th, 2008 from Noon to 4:00 p.m.

Our "Pre-Order Bulbs" site is now CLOSED, but you can still buy bulbs at the Open House.

This years Floral Design Show theme is A Romantic Journey featuring the following three categories:

Brides Bouquet
Bridesmaids Bouquet
Reception Centerpiece

This annual event is open to all floral designers, flower vendors, flower growers and floral artisans who have been actively employed for at least thirty days in the floral business, prior to the event date. Flowers will be provided by Sun Valley and cash prizes for the winning entries will be awarded. Three judges will adjudicate the winners. And new this year ... the winner of the Best of Show award will participate along with three finalists from FLORISTS REVIEW Magazines mail-in design contest in the Sun Valley Cup national design competition. The winner of the 2008 Sun Valley Cup will receive a grand prize of $500 and will be featured along with his or her winning design work in a two-page article about the contest and Sun Valleys 2008 Open House in the September issue of Florists Review magazine.

Last years Open House was an enormous success. Thousands of visitors toured Sun Valleys extensive greenhouses, coolers and warehouse, viewed the floral designs and watched planting, bunching, packing and shipping demonstrations.

Winners in each category of the Design Show were presented with cash awards and gift certificates by Lane DeVries, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Sun Valley Group.
